Proposals for urban areas
Due to the tendency of cities to grow vertically, photovoltaic roofs of tall buildings produce an imbalance between generated and consumed power. To solve that,we have different proposals for cities:
- Proposals for integration into city parks, public spaces, public roofs, speed bumps, etc. To achieve this, we have to invest extensively.
- Common peri-urban areas: energy belts, transport hubs, parking areas, i.e. areas that surround cities that will work like power supplies, or even micro-grids to share electricity generated by multiple close users (like computer software for exchanging files).
Applied solar energy for domestic use, solar photovoltaics, in both domestic use and for sale of electricity surplus, boilers and biomass stoves, wind power, geothermal heating, some water recycling devices and various devices of high energy efficiency, including low-power boilers and underfloor heating, all of them receive subsidies within the Spanish State. The following proposals for integration are promoted by Solaria:
-
Charging stations for electric cars
-
Parkings covered with solar panels
-
Speed Bumps for Electric-Vehicle Charging
-
Use energy from heat of roads
-
PV in buildings
-
Low-energy solar streetlights
-
Peri-urban energy Belts
-
Geothermal
-
Micro-wind power
